FFXIV Standard Edition Release
Final Fantasy XIV standard edition will be launching this Thursday (September 30). This should bring a large influx of players into FFXIV. We currently see over 150,000 characters created across all realms, so expect even more players to start appearing this Thursday.

Server Maintenance 9/28
Square Enix has posted a notice that the servers will be coming down for maintenance tomorrow for 3 hours. It’s likely that there will be another small client update with this update.
